ReplyDeleteKambhoji is a derivative of 28 th melakartha raga "hari kambhoji"
DeleteParental raga has Ni1 ( kaikali nishadam) (or komala Ni in hindusthani)
and not Ni2 ( kakali nisadam) (or theevra Ni in hindusthani)
The occurance of Ni2 is called to be a "anyaswaram" ( meaning different swaram) an accidental note
This is called a "Prayogam" meaning an occuring phrase.
Thus except the first Ni rest are N1
Can some one explain the meaning of this geetam plz
