Geetham - Malahari raga - Kunda Goura
This is the second of the geethams in the Geetham section of South Indian classical music learning. This was also composed by Shri.Purandara Dasa, who wrote the first Geetham ( Shri Gananatha ). Set to Malahari raga, this beautiful song's lyrics have been written in praise of Lord Shiva and the notes are as follows :

Meaning:Oh Lord of Gowri, you are white as the jasmine flower with a crown that resembles a mighty temple tower. Fragrant, three-eyed, and merciful, you adorn a golden throne. The moon and the river Ganges reside in your hair.
